This is not a religious blog. This is a place to express thoughts about spirit, intention, and right behavior. It is a place to discover and create a perspective, a way, a longing, and a reason for becoming as fully human as potential will allow. Welcome The Artist Within.
We won't see the change we want in the world unless we each become the change. There is hope in critical mass, and the critical mass may be less than we previously thought it needed to be to effect real change in how this world is formed and how its people act. Now is the time to stop committing crimes (sins) against humanity. Crimes (sins) come in all shapes and sizes. Crime (sin) is examined by asking the question: Will my action hurt another being (human or animal)? To sin is to err, to make a mistake, to miss the mark, to believe wrongly. The definition of sin does not have to include religious implications. One can be nonreligious and still believe in and commit sin. Evil is the unwillingness to examine one's own sin. There are examples of evil all around us. Apologizing for sin/error is not the same as atoning or making amends. Words do not make amends or cause atonement. Right actions do. How we behave in the world is what determines the form, the meaning, and the future of this planet and all life that inhabits it.

"Life is lived best when the heart is heard." I love this quote and it arrived at the perfect time for me. Thank you for starting this blog. I look forward to meeting with you here often. Pat
ReplyDeleteGood job, Gramma Dee, right on the mark. I believe the root of evil is the lack of empathy. If you are empathetic toward your peers, you will do them no harm. Grace Gallow, Age 13 (dictated to Gramma Ruth)
ReplyDeleteWhen I discovered Carl Van Hagt's article on I Surrender This I thought it was most appropriate to post on Divine Matrixology.
ReplyDeleteHaving spoken and listened to you I am now even more inspired and motivated to continue with my initiative namely: Tag the White Flag whose tag line by the way is: I... Am... M.A.D.E. (a deliberate play on words) I am Making A Difference Everyday. http://www.tagnflag.org
My profile has me pegged as a leader which is definitely the the role I will be carrying out to broadcast the message of hope ...In that peace on Earth is totally attainable and that positive change is something we can all apply ourselves to. My powerful intention is to have individuals around the globe asking themselves as they wake up in the morning this question:
Ask not what the Earth can do for me ? But what on Earth can I do ???
By simply wearing a White Flag pendant and tagging others with a White Flag thus indicating that that you have surrendered to Making A Difference Everyday. The White Flag is there purely as a tactile and visual reminder and also a form of recognition for others to realize that :
Who you are makes a difference.
What you say makes a difference.
The actions and the choices you make, create those differences.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Most importantly it creates an opportunity to exchange ideas with like minded folks on the various differences we can all make daily.
Needless to say that The white Flag is internationally recognized as a peace offering.
And that you as a White Flag bearer are open to truce.
I believe with my whole heart, that every individual on this magnificent planet we call home is very capable of making a difference, perhaps with a warm smile, being more patient, tolerant, caring, understanding, generous, loving, serving, in that each individual that becomes a willing participant of the Tag the White Flag Initiative knowing they already have all this within them. This is an outlet whereby they give themselves permission to allow their greatest good to come to bear.
Recognizing this inherent goodness, we / they will be positioned to exchange ideas on many levels, in many areas, over multi - communication platforms. Plus this can be done in an educating, entertaining, and wonderful consolidated effort. The reward is in the knowledge that they contributed significantly in bringing about peace and positive change.
There already exists a collective consciousness that is currently prevailing, however it seems to me to be and remains splintered. Basically our aim at Tag the White Flag is all about bringing people and organizations together via or under a simple but effective icon such as the White Flag. We can all thus serve the greatest good by creating peace and bringing about positive change through bein connected with an opportunity to communicate that which we care about or may be concerned for.
This is now my purpose in life and I am so very grateful to know that I am in the company of many great minds like you who are so willing to serve just as I am.
This is my step up, show up and give back to which I am so very proud to take out to the world.
We have a ways to go with the Initiative and I would like to encourage you to please give us pointers, advice or comments. For more information please feel free to visit our website http://tagnflag.org
Blessings and abundance
